The HTC TyTn goes by many names depending on which carrier is selling it, and is the first Pocket PC Phone with HSPDA support. This allows upload speeds of 26KB/s on average, which is several times faster than regular 3G/UMTS. The TyTn is available now in Europe, and should be available in the US courtesy of Cingular, where it will be called the 8525. Don't be put off by the MicroSD slot, the sheer speed of this device more than makes up for it. MicroSD cards come with MicroSD->SD adapters, and you can use an SD->CF adapter for use with CompactFlash cameras. |
